I am a CNRS researcher, member of the applied math and computer science department of Grenoble University (LJK, Lab. Jean Kunztmann), head of the team DAO. All my subjects of research have been related to mathematical optimization and I try to keep a balance between theory and practice, believing that both are richer from their interactions. My main current research topics lie at the interface between machine learning and optimization, to lay down the theoretical foundations of data science and artificial intelligence.

Forthcoming Workshop OSL 2019

In a ski resort close to Mont Blanc, we will welcome some of the leading researchers at the intersection of optimization and machine learning, for OSL2019 the fourth edition of our workshop (see the websites of the editions OSL2017, OSL2015 and OSL2013).

Our work on delayed-tolerant proximal algorithms was presented in International Conference on Machine Learning in Stocklohm in July 2018.

Workshop GOD

The topic of the 2018 Grenoble Optimization Days is ``optimization methods and applications in statistical learning''. The workshop gathered researchers, PhD students, and master students on mathematical optimization and statistical learning from Grenoble and russian partners from MIPT and HSE in Moscow.
