Images and Geometry

This seminary was hold from 2 to 6 September 1996 at ENSIMAG (Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Informatique et de Mathématiques Appliquéees de Grenoble). It was dedicated to maths and computer science teachers which prepare the students to enter into a French Engineering school.

The seminary was organized as follows:

Monday 9.00 - 12.00 Welcome of the 24 participants

14.00 - 17.00 Presentation of some computer graphics software
Practice on a PC: ray tracing

Tuesday 9.00 - 12.00 Geometric modeling of curves and surfaces
Applications in CAGD

14.00 - 17.00 Practice on a PC: parameter correction for smooth curve design
Methodology of the TIPE test on images and geometry, discussion

Image compression

2D morphing methods

TIPE stands for "Travaux d'Initiative Personnelle Encadré". It is one of the entrance tests for the French Engineering schools.
