Submission Guidelines

Submitted papers should present original research that is unpublished and not submitted elsewhere. Authors of accepted papers with a computational component will be invited to submit their code and data to an optional repeatability evaluation in February 2015.

Special issue: Authors of distinguished papers will be invited to submit an extended version of their work for possible publication in a special issue of the journal Nonlinear Analysis: Hybrid Systems.

Best Student Paper Award: As established in the previous years, a best student paper award will be given to a contribution which has been primarily authored by a student. Each paper nominated for this award should be co-authored primarily by a student (as certified by the student’s faculty advisor).

Repeatability Evaluation: HSCC has a history of publishing strong papers emphasizing computational contributions; however, recreating these computational elements is hard, because details of the implementation are unavoidably absent in the paper. Following a successful inaugural run in 2014, authors of papers accepted to HSCC (in any track) that contain a computational component will be invited to participate in an optional repeatability evaluation process after final submission of the paper in February. Papers which pass will be highlighted at the conference, and all submissions will receive confidential feedback from independent reviewers on challenges faced in recreating the computational results.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, repeatability evaluation has been cancelled this year. We hope to continue this for future versions of HSCC.

Workshops and Tutorials

CPS Workshop and Tutorial Day: April 13, 2015 and/or April 17, 2015
Submission deadline: September 28, 2014.

Workshops should provide an arena for presentations and discussion about a special topic of relevance to CPS Week and HSCC. Tutorials should present in-depth content in a mini-course format aimed primarily at students, researchers and industry members.
Submit workshop and tutorials through CPS Week.

Demo proposals should clearly describe what will be demonstrated and how the contributions will be illustrated interactively. A table and electrical power will be provided for each demo. If a demonstration requires special arrangements in addition to the above, please describe them clearly in your submission.
Demo abstracts should be limited to 2 pages; 10 pt 2 column ACM format. Demo abstract titles should be begin with “Demo:". Selected demo abstracts will be included in the conference proceedings.
