The activities of the MAD members are centered around the design and implementation of numerical and symbolic tools for the resolution of ODE's and PDE's, with applications to control and optimization problems.The department has 6 components :
Modeling, control and simulations in non smooth dynamical systems, nonsmooth optimization (INRIA project)
Algebraic computing, analysis and control of hybrid (symbolic/exact/numerical) dynamical systems, computational modeling
develops algorithms for modeling and simulation of nanosystems.
Modeling, analysis and computational sciences applied to the life sciences and to material sciences
Mathematical and numerical methods, scientific computing, for direct and inverse modeling for environmental and geophysical applications (INRIA project)
